(FeaturedNews.com) – The White House once again stated that President Biden has vowed that should Hunter Biden, his son, be convicted in any of the legal cases he is facing he is not going to be pardoning him.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary of the White House, reiterated that he has not changed his opinion on this topic. This statement came after it was announced that new tax crime charges were filed against Hunter Biden in California.
During a gaggle aboard Air Force One en route to Las Vegas, Jean-Pierre stated that there has not been anything that has changed in this case.
On Thursday, special counsel David Weiss brought forward a legal case against Hunter Biden on three felony tax charges related to him filing a false return and tax evasion. There are also six misdemeanor charges filed as well relating to Hunter Biden’s failure to pay the necessary taxes from 2016 and 2019. This is the second indictment that was filed by David Weiss against Hunter Biden.
Jean-Pierre deflected any questions relating to the charges being faced by Hunter Biden and has not made any statements regarding President Joe Biden’s reaction to the charges that his son is currently facing.
However, she stated that as the President has said before he loves and supports his son in all his attempts to rebuild his life. She added that she was going to be careful to make sure not to make any comments about this case and that instead, reporters should refer their questions to the White House Counsel and the Justice Department.
