President Biden’s White House has said that former President Donald Trump should be “universally condemned” for saying that certain parts of the U.S. Constitution should be deleted.
In a statement responding to the “Twitter Files” release on Friday, Trump said that the files were evidence of “fraud and deception” in the 2020 election. He proceeded to say that certain parts of the constitution should be terminated in order to combat this issue.
Trump took to social media to say that following the “revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,” as well as the close ties and collaborations between “Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party,” it might be necessary to either completely throw out the 2020 presidential elections and “declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER” – or call for a new presidential election.
He added that the extent of this fraud makes it so all “rules, regulations, articles and even certain parts of the Constitution should be terminated.” He added that the Founders of the United States would have never condoned having fraudulent Elections.
Throughout the year, Trump has never managed to provide evidence to support his claims of widespread election fraud.
As soon as these latest statements were released by Trump, the White House responded by saying that the Constitution was the foundation of American politics.
The White House’s deputy press secretary Andrew Bates noted that the American constitution has “for over 200 years guaranteed that freedom and the rule of law prevail.” He added that the document brought people together and that it was up to every elected leader to uphold its writings.
