(FeaturedNews.com) – Whoopi Goldberg suggested every American would be “in danger” if Trump wins in November.
On Wednesday, ABC’s “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested voters couldn’t “lay by the wayside” and “let somebody else do it.” Instead, she insisted the upcoming election required everyone to recognize that “we’re all in danger here.”
Her remarks came during a segment where co-hosts sat with Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts). Warren criticized Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, describing Vance as “more Trump than Trump” on the issue of abortion.
Another co-host added, “you can’t sit this one out.”
Warren turned her attention to Vance, claiming the Republican Senator had said, “cut Social Security and Medicare,” and suggested Vance would “help Donald Trump do that.”
Warren also claimed JD Vance had suggested getting “rid of the Affordable Care Act for everybody out there with health insurance,” describing that as a “real risk.”
The Massachusetts Democrat continued plowing into Vance, claiming he owed his “entire political career to billionaires” who had swooped in to help him in his race in Ohio and would be giving “every billionaire $3.5 million every year in tax cuts” paid for by the average American.
Earlier in the interview, Warren was asked about the attempt on Trump’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Warren recalled the “first thing” she thought about when hearing the news of the assassination attempt was “democracy” and its “core foundation principle.” That meant although people “disagree with each other,” they resolved that at the “ballot box, not with violence.”
