(FeaturedNews.com) – “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg hit back following former President Donald Trump’s comments against her where he suggested that if he wins back the Oval Office for a second term, Goldberg should consider moving to a different country.
On Monday, Goldberg said regarding Trump that she was a “little agitated” by the fact that Trump had something to say to him. As she told, the audience of the ABC daytime talk show, Trump had seen a meme that stated that she was leaving the country. She added that people were always seeing memes about how she would leave the country if Trump won.
On Sunday, Trump shared an edited image of Goldberg which included the message that she was moving to Canada this time. In his post on his social media platform Truth Social Trump had stated that Canada did not want the Academy Award winner and that no one wanted her.
The 68-year-old host stated on Monday that she was not going anywhere, and it was not for the reason “you little snowflake” might think. She added that even if no one wanted her there it would not matter because she has a contract which means that for the next few years, she would be where she is right now.
Before the 2016 presidential election, dozens of Hollywood stars including Barbra Streisand, Chelsea Handler, and Miley Cyrus had vowed that they would be leaving the country if Trump won the presidential election. At the time, Goldberg had also floated the idea arguing in early 2016 that if Trump was elected it would perhaps be the time for her to move.
