(FeaturedNews.com) – A Nest front door camera in Arizona captured the moment that the wreath that was on their front door was set on fire by a stranger. The clip from the security camera has been seen over 700,000 times and it shows the man who at first was loitering in front of the home before setting the wreath on fire with a lighter.

El Mirage, Phoenix, police have confirmed that the incident had occurred but revealed that it is not yet clear why that particular home was targeted. Lieutenant Jimmy Chavez specifically noted that they were working on identifying and apprehending the person responsible for the incident. The Police department has also confirmed that they were given access to the security camera footage.

Brittany Thee, the inhabitant of the home, posted the video footage and images online asking internet strangers if they knew who the man that had lit the fire in their front door on Saturday morning had been. As she told her Facebook friends, while they are shocked by the incident, everyone is fine. She added that they were planning on installing more security cameras.

In the video, the man can be seen stumbling through the walkway. He is also pulling up his shorts which are unbuckled before getting an object out of his pocket. When he reaches the house’s door, he presses the camera and then proceeds to light up the wreath while continuing to look at the door. Another clip captured by the camera shows him walking away from the door while his shorts drop down.
