(FeaturedNews.com) – During a campaign reception in Atlanta on Saturday, President Joe Biden pushed for his supporters to stand up against former President Donald Trump, who is the Republican party’s presumptive nominee.

At the event at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, Biden claimed that the only reason Trump was running for office was for “revenge.” He argued that Trump was not running for the White House because he wanted to “lead America” but rather because he was looking for revenge. However, as Biden claimed there was no way of running a country with revenge.

On Sunday, Biden delivered the Morehouse College commencement address where he tried to win over Georgia voters during his visit to Atlanta. During his statements, he argued that Trump was “unhinged” and that he was threatening the country’s democracy. He also praised Georgia for the integral role the state had played in his success in the 2020 presidential election.

The president managed to barely win in the 2020 presidential election, with a thin majority, but that did not stop him from praising the state’s voters for their important help, and projected that with their assistance he would once again be able to win over the battleground state in the upcoming election.

Biden had also said that when people questioned the importance and power of voting, they should tell them to visit Georgia because what they had done in the state was “incredible.” He added that Georgia was the reason that he had become the U.S. president.

Despite his winning the state before, recent polls have found that Trump is leading in Georgia by as much as 10 points according to The New York Times recent survey.
