(FeaturedNews.com) – On Saturday, North Korea held mass rallies in each province of the country in order to mark the “day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.” Many government leaders spoke during the rallies, denouncing the U.S. and promising to “annihilate” the country which they referred to as “imperialist beasts.”

This was all reported by the state-run Korean Central News Agency, which noted that the gatherings in Pyongyang had 120,000 attendees.

One of the signs from the rallies shown by the outlet noted that “the entire Continental U.S.” is in Korea’s range, while another stated that the U.S. “is the destroyer of peace.

The rallies fell on the 63rd anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. Many North Korean leaders in the rallies claimed that they had a firm grasp on “the strongest absolute weapon” that would punish the U.S.

In 2019, former President Donald Trump and North Korea’s supreme leader, Kim Jong Un had discussed the possibility of disarmament, however, the two were not able to reach a deal. Since then, Kim has tested new nuclear missiles which he hopes will be able to reach the U.S.

Some of the government leaders that spoke in the rallies also addressed the Korean War, pointing out how the war had led to the people of North Korea struggling. In the event, they noted that there was the “blood of innocent people” everywhere where the “enemies’ dirty footsteps reached.” All of these comments were then reported by the North Korean propaganda outlet.
