(FeaturedNews.com) – Democrats are getting frustrated with the low approval ratings of President Joe Biden, especially as concerns rise as a growing number of polls have shown that the President is currently behind former President Donald Trump. Some Democrats have started to be concerned over the possibility that Biden could lead the party to lose the 2024 election in both the White House and the Senate.

However, there are also several Democrats who have blasted the President’s critics and have pointed out that Biden needed to get more credit for his work in improving the U.S. economy.

Jim Kessler, co-founder of Third Way, a centrist think-tank, argued that there were many challenges Biden faced as he headed into 2024 and that he was confused to see so many people who were involved in politics completely dismiss the President’s chances.

Those who are backing the president’s chances have argued that the choices in the general election would become a lot clearer after Trump became the nominee for the GOP and was actually on the general election ballot. They have also pointed out that this was still 10 months away.

Vice President Al Gore’s former aide David Thomas has argued that the economy was going strong and that the country had recovered from the pandemic and had gained back the respect of the world. He added that normalcy had also been restored following the chaos that had emerged during the four years of the Trump administration. He added that the majority of Americans if asked in November whether they were better off now than they had been four years ago would answer that they were.
