(FeaturedNews.com) – Jason Priestley decided to move to Nashville but only on the condition that both of their kids could attend school there.

Priestley revealed to E! News the thought process behind the decision. As he noted, he and his wife had stated that if their kids could get into school in Nashville, then they would move there. After their kids were accepted to school, the two of them ended up moving and loving their new environment.

Priestley has argued that life in Nashville was much easier to navigate and that things were moving slower now that they were not in Los Angeles.

The 54-year-old actor stated that now they got to enjoy four seasons instead of just one and that they could now see the indications of the seasons changing. He added that this was different to Los Angeles where it was often hard to tell which month it was and time sort of “evaporated” and went faster. However, he pointed out that living in Nashville that was no longer the case because the seasons were very distinct and they made sure to take advantage of all of them.

Priestley and his wife Naomi have two children Ava and Dashiell. The two had first met in London while Priestley was in the United Kingdom for a job. His wife had just graduated from college and is a makeup artist. The two ended up tying the knot in 2005.  Naomi stated that she had met her husband while working for a new media agency shortly after her graduation and has since moved across the world with him.
