(FeaturedNews.com) – Next month Texas is going to be launching a paid membership program in order to increase revenues and market share as consumers continue to be cautious about spending.

The Target Circle 360 program is looking to compete with Walmart Plus and Amazon Prime and will include a number of upgrades on the Circle and Circle credit card programs. Under the new program, members will be able to receive two-day shipping as well as have products delivered to their home, or the floor of someone else. They will also benefit from same-day delivery from Shipt, the delivery service of Target on orders that are over $35. According to the company, products will be delivered in as little as an hour.

Target’s chief guest experience officer Cara Sylvester has argued that this could include everything from groceries to must-have items without any additional markup or fees.

New members will be able to sign up for Target Circle 360 from April 7 to May 18. The program is going to cost $49 for the first year, but the cost will increase to $99 annually after the first year. Those with a Target Circle card will continue to be able to get access to the program for $49 annually.

In a press release, CEO Brian Cornell pointed out that the paid membership was one of the company’s innovations and that it would provide a roadmap to additional growth in order for Target to continue having profitable growth in 2024, by increasing market shares and consumer spending.
