(FeaturedNews.com) – On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump revealed he had told Secret Service agents he wanted to go to the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

At his first out-of-state campaign event since his hush-money trial kicked off in Manhattan, Trump revealed to his supporters in Wisconsin that he wanted to be at the Capitol on January 6.

He began his attack on lawmakers who pursued the January 6 case by asking the crowd if they remembered the White House aide who claimed he “attacked a Secret Service agent in the front of the car?” He denied that he ever did that, claiming he’s a “lover, not a fighter.”

The former President continued mocking his former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony. Hutchinson told the January 6 congressional panel that she had heard from others that the former President “lunged” at the steering wheel in an attempt to get the car to the Capitol.

While Trump rubbished claims he ever attempted to attack Secret Service agents to get to the Capitol, he indicated that he told his Secret Service agents that he would “like to go down there because I see a lot of people walking down.”

However, he stated that his attempts were rebuffed, stating the agents said, “Sir, it’s better if you don’t.”

He then repeated that he’d “like to,” but would do “whatever you guys think,” claiming that was the entire conversation.

Hutchinson repeated the story that Trump “lunged” before the January 6 Committee, but her statements were disputed by Trump’s driver, who denied the former President ever tried to get control of the car.
