(FeaturedNews.com) – Last Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel mocked former President Donald Trump for his money issues and legal problems. During his shows, he referred to Trump’s $464 million bond at the time, which was eventually cut down to $175 million.
Trump has received a large fine following his civil fraud case in New York. Trump’s legal team claimed that he had not been able to secure the original $464 million amount and did not have the cash on hand to pay for the bond, which continued to grow every day because of interest.
Trump also took to his social media platform, Truth Social to say that the state with the original ruling was essentially forcing him to have a “fire sale” of his properties in order to come up with the necessary amount.
Kimmel made a joke about this alleging that over the weekend Trump would start to talk about how strong Vladimir Putin is, and then there would be rubles that would be used to cover the fines for him. However, Kimmel argued that in all of this the “real loser” is Trump’s wife Melania Trump who could possibly end up having “half of the nothing” that Trump currently owns. He argued that he was hoping Melania Trump had gotten an advance on the prenup because if people thought she hated Trump now, then they should wait to see what would happen when Trump was poor.
Over the years, Trump and Kimmel have had an ongoing feud which escalated recently during the Academy Awards ceremony.
