(FeaturedNews.com) – On Friday, the Biden reelection campaign released a new ad which is targeting supporters of Republican Nikki Haley, while also blasting former President Donald Trump for not trying to approach her supporters.
The Washington Post reported that in the 30-second ad, the Biden campaign featured many of the moments when Trump had slammed Haley, as well as his reference to her as a “birdbrain” and as not being fit for the White House.
The ad also noted that if you were someone who voted for Nikki Haley then former President Donald Trump did not want your vote. It further quotes Trump’s Truth Social post from January where he had stated that any supporters of Haley were permanently blocked from the MAGA camp.
The ad also has several clips in which Trump has argued that he is not sure that he needs many of the votes that had gone to Haley in the primary, in order to win the White House in the 2024 election.
The ad continued by calling for all of those voters to join Biden’s side so that they can “Save America.” The campaign is spending over $1 million on the ad which is going to be running in battleground states for three weeks. This is only a part of the $30 million ad buy that Biden’s campaign had announced after the State of the Union address that is going to be targeting the seven battleground states that are integral to President Biden’s reelection bid.
Earlier this week, the campaign put out a statement in which they similarly argued that Trump did not want Haley voters. They have also added that Trump has made it clear that any voters who do not belong to his “MAGA” camp are not welcome.
