(FeaturedNews.com) – Lindsay Shiver, a housewife from Georgia, called 911 after Robert Shiver, her estranged husband, blocked her from accessing their private jet so that she could meet her boyfriend in the Bahamas. Five days later Shiver, her boyfriend, Terrance Adrien Bethel, 28, and Faron Newbold, Jr., an accused hitman, were charged with planning the murder of Robert Shiver.
Robert Shiver revealed that he and his wife were in the middle of a divorce on police bodycam footage taken on July 16. At the time, his estranged wife had planned to take a family vacation in the Bahamas with Bethel and her three sons. The family has a vacation home in the Bahamas which they were going to use for the vacation.
However, the couple started to fight as Robert refused to allow Lindsay to take a ride on their private plane to reach the Bahamas. As he had argued, their children were going to be confused by suddenly seeing their mother spend the weekend with another man. Robert told the Thomasville Police Department that he had told Lindsay that he could not support this and they would not be allowed to use the plane as it would harm their children.
Lindsay proceeded to claim that Robert had physically hurt her and gotten aggressive by pushing her out of the way. However, Robert claimed that he had not pushed her. Still, Lindsay told the police that she her reasoning for calling was because her husband had gotten violent in the past and that she wanted to avoid the possibility of an escalation. She added that living with him while going through a divorce was “hell on Earth.”
