(FeaturedNews.com) – The FBI has completed a search of President Biden’s Rehoboth Beach, Del., home according to a statement released by Biden’s attorney. During their search, which lasted from 8:30 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, the FBI did not find any documents with classified markings on them.

Bob Bauer, Biden’s attorney, noted that Biden’s team had fully cooperated with the FBI during the search. He added that the process followed in Rehoboth was consistent with the one the FBI had followed during their search of Biden’s Wilmington home. This means that the FBI also seized some materials and handwritten notes for further review. These documents all belonged to President Biden’s time as vice president.

The search in Biden’s Rehoboth home is part of the Justice Department’s probe into the handling of classified documents during Biden’s time as vice president. The investigation is a result of several batches of classified documents having been found in Biden’s private home in Wilmington and an office he had used after leaving the White House at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington.

There had been no classified documents found in Rehoboth previously. Last month, it was revealed that Justice Department officials had repeatedly searched through Biden’s home in Wilmington and that Biden’s team had fully cooperated with the search. Outside of the classified documents, agents had also taken a number of documents and handwritten notes that dated back to Biden’s time in the Senate and working as the vice president.
