(FeaturedNews.com) – A young girl has taken social media by storm following her performance of the national anthem prior to the Indiana Pacers game.
On Feb. 26, Kinsley Murray delivered her own version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” while wearing a patriotic dress and standing at center court. Since the video of her pregame performance was posted on TikTok, it has amassed over 23 million views, as well as 2.2 million likes.
In the caption, the Pacers wrote that everything about the performance was unmatched. Over the last few years, Murray has performed the national anthem at many different sporting events. On Monday, before her performance of the national anthem, she also sang “O Canada.”
A social media user claiming to be Shafer Murray, the father of the young girl revealed that she had previously performed in early 2022 during the Washington Huskies basketball game. In 2021, Kinsley had also gotten attention from the public over her performance of the national anthem right before the Gonzanga game started.
At the time, 6-year-old Kinsley had claimed that she loved honoring the country.
Following her latest performance some people praised the little girl while others pushed back. TikTok user Midnight Michaelson pointed out that the bullying against the little girl was “atrocious” and that everyone should apologize for their attacks against the little girl.
On Friday night, the New Orleans Pelicans hosted the Pacers. Going into the game, Indiana was seventh in the Eastern Conference.
