(FeaturedNews.com) – Following President Joe Biden’s trip to Ireland, he revealed to reporters that he was planning on making an announcement about his 2024 reelection campaign and plans “relatively soon.” He also claimed that his plans for 2024 have so far not been checked.
Reporters before his departure from Ireland repeatedly questioned Biden on what his intentions for 2024 were. In response, Biden had said that before his trip to Ireland, he had “made the calculus” and had decided on whether or not he is going to reach reelection. He added that his announcement would also come soon. These comments to the press occurred at Ireland West Airport Knock, minutes before he boarded Air Force One to head to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
One reporter asked whether, in the last few days, Biden had changed his plans on when he was planning to make an announcement for 2024. In response, Biden stated that there was no change in his plans and that if anything “the trip here just reinforced my sense of optimism about what can be done.”
The reporter proceeded to state that then Biden must have made a decision.
To this, the president got slightly agitated stating that he has repeatedly said before that he intends on running again.
The White House and first lady Jill Biden have also reaffirmed frequently that President Biden was going to seek a second term in office. Jill Biden, specifically during an interview, stated that her husband was “pretty much” ready to make his announcement.
