A hilarious moment captured showcases a flight attendant in a compromising position as passengers started boarding the aircraft. The mistake has left many online laughing.
Chris Petty, from Denver, recently posted in a now-viral video on TikTok the position that he was caught in as passengers started to board the flight that he was working on. As Petty told Newsweek, being spotted while he was trying to film the viral video led to everyone on the plane relaxing and it was ultimately the best icebreaker.
He added that in the seven years that he has been working as a flight attendant, this was the fastest that he has ever become friendly with passengers on board. He added that it must have been absurd for the passengers as well who were taking a six a.m. flight and the first thing they had to see was Petty in that position.
Flight attendants face many challenges in their everyday jobs, which is why they often try to find humor in their work.
According to a 2021 survey by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, the number of incidents of abusive behavior directed towards cabin crews has increased exponentially in recent years. Based on the responses of the 5,000 flight attendants interviewed at the start of 2021, more than 85 percent had confirmed that they had to deal with passengers misbehaving while working. The survey also showed that the flight attendants union had called for a “zero-tolerance policy” in order to help protect flight attendants from disruptions caused by unruly passengers.
