(FeaturedNews.com) – A new video of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis laughing has been released in an attempt to make the potential 2024 presidential candidate appear more candid and show that he can loosen up. The video was first aired on C-Span and it shows the governor talking with a man at a classic car show in Iowa on May 13. DeSantis proceeds to ask what the man’s 1955 Porsche cost.
To this, the man responded that this is not something they talk about, which is what prompted DeSantis to start laughing. The image of him laughing with his mouth open and head back was taken by Wall Street Journal reporter John McCormick, who quickly uploaded it on Twitter.
This is what led to many people starting to crack jokes about DeSantis, who is said to be preparing to launch his official presidential bid in Miami next week.
Anti-Trump political group, The Lincoln Project, pointed out in a tweet that for those who had only seen the photo of DeSantis laughing, the video was actually worse.
Mrs. Betty Bowers, a satirical comedic character played by Deven Green, also joined in stating that the video of DeSantis laughing was proof that artificial intelligence still had a lot of progress to make before it could authentically replicate the human laugh.
Another Twitter user @Dragwynn said that whenever they see footage of DeSantis laughing, it appears as if his job is unhinged. They proceeded to state that DeSantis fits the description of a ghoul.
